Seasonal/Full Time Sugar Beet Drivers
Grace Transport is currently seeking full time and part time AZ Drivers to haul bulk end dump loads from Lambton County and Chatham Kent to Croswell Michigan ( ½ hour north of Port Huron )
12 hour shifts, home daily Day Shift – 5am-5pm (Sunday night – Friday shifts available) Night Shift – 5pm-5am (Monday – Saturday shifts available)
Over the road – no slip seat available as well for drivers that are looking for full time employment and run longer days.
Drivers earn between $275-325/ per day per 12 hour shift. Fully paid extended health and dental company benefits from your first day of work.
Shifts available out of 6 conveniently located yards - Sarnia, Wyoming , Dresden, Dover Centre, Wallaceburg, and Strathroy . (Trucks will be parked in these locations). We hire drivers from all the surrounding areas , must be willing to commute to one of these areas to start their shift.
Grace Transport is experienced and has been operating this run for over 14 years , due to increased volume , we are looking to add new drivers. Positions range from full time, part time, weekends and seasonal
Duties: Drivers will be pulling an end dump 7 axle trailer or 6 axle Walking Floor into Michigan. Loading is done on road side , it takes approx. 10 minutes on average to load, unloading is approx. 10-15 minutes in Croswell MI. Trucks simply run back empty to Canada for another load.
Perks to the job: Routine run, with consistent work. Same truck/trailer daily, with the same shift partner running your truck or your own truck depending on the position you want.
